Additional Information

To plan for the accommodation of a string quartet is not the sort of thing that most mortals do every day.
The notes below are to try and allow us to prepare you and ourselves for a trouble free performance.

Seating
Please make sure that there are four chairs available with straight backs and no arms. We sit in a semicircle with a radius of about 10 feet. Please allow sufficient space so that we do not interfere with your guests! We prefer to play away from open doors and draughts and within easy earshot of guests. We can play outside unless there is enough wind to blow our music away!


Lighting
The performance area should be well lit and a standard lamp is ideal. (Please let us know if we need to bring our own lighting)


Breaks
As a guideline we try to take a break of about 10 minutes after playing for an hour. We will do our best to fit in with your schedule and time our playing to coincide with your plans.


Fees
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is payable with the initial booking. Our fee includes all expenses, travelling, agent commissions and management costs. Times quoted on the booking form are actual playing times and we do not add costs for additional travelling and setting up time. We ask that the balance of fees after the deposit is made in advance. We do not charge VAT.
