and life as a quartet took off.
The Sounds Interesting Quartet is comprised of Derek & Merri
Williams, Anne Tupling and Rachael Calverley.
They are all classically trained musicians.
Derek conducts the Nottingham Symphony Orchestra and Nottingham
Youth Orchestra and also teaches the violin at Nottingham High School.
Anne gained her first music degree at Nottingham University and
her second at London University.
Merri teaches the viola and leads the viola section in the Nottingham
Symphony Orchestra.
Rachael is a freelance professional 'cellist and leads the 'cello
section of the Bardi Orchestra.
